FOREST WALKS WITH W.O.L.F.

The Watchers of Langley Forests will be holding a another day of free guided tours of East Mclellan Park Forest.  This 25 acre forest is just behind Gray Pit on 84th Avenue , just minutes away from Fort Langley.

The tours will be happening from noon to five on Sunday August 26. Everyone is welcome. As always volunteers to help with the tours are also welcome. No experience in the woods is necessary. If you can't help that  day let us know what you can do. There are plenty of skill sets that we need.Contact us at savemclellanpark@gmail.com

If you want to know how to get to the forest just follow the directions below.

The trail head is located on 257A Street. An info table will be there with people to greet the public.

If coming from Fort Langley follow River Road east, make a right at 256 Street, then make a left on to 84 Ave. 257A Street is about a quarter of a kilometre, on the left hand side.

If coming from Aldergrove or the freeway go north on 264 Street, make a left on to 84 Ave, 257A is about a kilometre and a quarter, on the right hand side

This is a visual peek at what awaits you. Here is a link to a blog post about one WOLF member's experience in the woods. Thank you to Sierra Club for their help.
